At Endodontic Professionals, we realize that many people experience some degree of anxiety before a dental procedure. With respect to endodontic procedures, much anxiety is based off the belief that root canals are painful when in fact they are often as painless as an ordinary filling. Pain associated with a root canal is typically from the inflammation or infection within the tooth before treatment has begun. In reality, root canals eliminate pain!
Our doctors and staff want you to be comfortable while at our office. Please let us know about your anxieties at your appointment and we will do all that we can to ensure your experience is as positive as possible.
Significant dental anxiety can have wide ranging consequences such as avoiding necessary treatments. For these patients, we offer the following forms of sedation that help relieve your stress and allow you to receive treatment.
