Before Endodontic Treatment
If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic premedication before dental appointments please make sure you are on the appropriate antibiotic on the day of your appointment. You do not need to premedicate for consultation appointments. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.
Continue all medications for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems and any other condition as recommended by your physician.
Eat a full breakfast or lunch as applicable.
Please refrain from taking pain medications prior to arriving at your appointment. These medications can mask symptoms and make proper diagnosis more difficult.
If an oral sedative has been prescribed, please take the medication 1 hour prior to your treatment time. These medications require that you have a ride to and from our office.
